Debe, I heard that cruise through the Panama Canal is spectacular.   Bet it was difficult to get to bed early though!  

Hi Debe --- there's something quite special for me about early mornings when the air especially crisp and typically less people out and about.  While I'm sure you weren't alone on the ship...lol...I bet this is an experience you will never forget.   Thanks for sharing the photo.

Thank you, Debe Maxwell, for setting your clock a little earlier than usual to catch a great shot of sunrise at the Panama Canal. Those of us who especially have never had the opportunity to see this, now have, through your eyes.  

We kind of have the same schedule. I get my best sleep when most people are waking up. My habit of waltzing into the office after 9am kind of ticks off the old rancher dude in my office. He thinks if you aren't in the office and working early in the morning you are missing out. I've given up trying to get him to see things differently. He can keep his early mornings, and I'll keep doing my thing. 

I do love your picture. I would have made a point to get up for that part of my trip, too. 

Great photo, Debe. The thing about vacations is that we don't want to miss any of those precious moments. I know you are glad you didn't miss those gorgeous shots.

That's a neat shot, Debbie.  I like the fleet of ships in the background, with the red boat in the foreground acting as accent!

We were just there last month. Standing on the deck front for 6 hours watching while going through the 3 gates in 90% relative humidity.  I saw a black cloud coming from Atlantic Ocean. 10 minutes later the cloud translates to heavy rain. But it lasted just a few minutes.  All in all, there was a lot of moisture.  This is going from Pacific passing Panama City through Atlantic. The Princess almost scrapped the edge of the canal......
