Winter surf on Maui is always exciting. I been a Realtor on Maui for 22 years, but I been surfing for 53 years. It's a lifestyle that brought me to Maui. Many people come to Maui for different reason. Some people just love our year around weather, even in the winter months. Other water sports that are big on Maui is windsurfing. We have world class windsurfers on Maui. The northshore of Maui is a very exciting place, that's where I call home for the last 44 years. In the last five years I started windsurfing, very exciting sport. Learning I took some donuts in strong winds. It's an ongoing learning process.
Last week we had some excellent waves at Honolua Bay. Waves were up to 8ft Hawaiian, just beautiful surf. Both my son's are world class surfers. My younger son won Legends of the Bay couple years ago, he does have a job, programmer for the government. My other son Micah is the marketing manager for Da-Kine international. Both are fathers and happy husbands. All the shots of Micah were taken last week at Honolua Bay. I am very proud of my kids, talented in and out of the water.
