Hello to You! Am I the only one?

A few times a week I wake up in the middle of the night,  just FIRED UP about our business. Making notes, new marketing ideas, database set ups, new scripts for prospects or whatever it may be. Just can't wait til tomorrow=)  And as for TRUMP, "Sleeping is important, but I rather be doing something else."

Its usually Active Rain, MySpace, or my website: http://www.jeffreydejesus.com/, its necessary to catch up on emails, blogs, edits thats not attended during the day. Atleast it shouldnt be. - You guilty people no what I mean. HERES A TIP:  For the guilty people who are working on Non Productive items during the day. . SHAME ON YOU! -  NO personal emails, website editing, envelop stuffing, talking to moms, co-worker chats, office organizing, cleaning, surfing the net for bargains, ebay, sharpening pencils, paying bills-(yeahokay!... this is okay just as long it takes only 10-20 mins - it only takes a second to lick a stamp heheheee - NOT 1-4 hours...)...You get the picture..

THIS WORKS PRETTY GOOD: PROSPECTING AND NEW PHONE CALLS DURING THE AM  & SERVICE YOUR CLIENTS IN THE PM.

EXAMPLE OF PROSPECTING: Since you go to Starbucks, Say "hi" to everybody and give your business cards out (thats why you have them!)  And after you give the card out you say, "Good morning my name is Jeffrey de Jesus and I am looking for more business, If you or someone you know is buying or selling real estate please let me know. Have a wonderful day!" - Keep it simple and consistent.

ProspectingOld Friends, associate or who ever: "Hi John Doe, Its me Jeffrey de Jesus. I only have a minute, but the reason I'm calling, I am updating my database and I want to know has any of phone numbers or emails changed?   Ok thanks...Oh yeah! By the way: 'If you or someone you know is buying or selling real estate please let me know. Have a wonderful day!'" - Straight to the point - do not get into a long conversation be direct and let them know why your calling. People who you haven't spoken with in a while are skeptical.

SERVICE YOUR CLIENTS: Showings, follow ups, escrows, disclosures, appointments, presentations, etc.... (Prospecting is good 24/7 - Keep the Pipeline nice and Full for a consistent business)

Oh yeah! Next time you take a client out to see homes:  Please , Please, Please!!! Say, 1. "So, shall we write up an Offer?"  2. "Lets head back to my office and lets write up that Offer!"  3. "Lets write an Offer."  "or what ever fits you...The biggest mistake people do, they let there client go home without saying anything after a showing....... and you end up with another showing (more gas, food, thinking etc....)... "YOU NEED TO LEAD YOUR CLIENT INTO A CLOSE".

Anyways, Mahalo to you all and good luck. I always need more Associates, ADD ME=)

Jeffrey,

It works for at the time that it dose....nothing else will.

We make our time for what is important, when it best fits our lifestyle....and yes, I have been on AR in the middle of the night a few times.

You certainly aren't the only one and there have been many days I've woken up with an attitude that today is the day and because of that attitude it usually is!

Always working because it is fun!  Here I am at 11:20 PM catching up on AR - a showing planned tomorrow that I picked up at the baseball game and a meeting with a FSBO to list.
