Veteran and Military Open House Event - Questions On Building a Home, Buying a Home and Financing a Home - Military Discounts

The Veteran and Military Personnel Meet the Builder and Lender Event will be held in the Cattail Creek neighborhood in Chatham County from 1-4pm on Sunday, June 22, 2008.

Stanton Homes is a strong supporter of our local Raleigh and Triangle area military and Veteran families, and offers a special recognition discount for these local heroes - "Stanton Homes for Heroes" - Military Discounts on New Homes.

We've joined with expert Raleigh/Triangle lenders who are very familiar with the special qualifications and financing options available to military and Veterans through the VA loan program.

These local lenders will be able to tell you, point by point, how well VA Loans compare to other lending options.  If you're interested in building a home from the ground up, these lenders will also be able to go over construction loan and construction to permanent financing options.

Raleigh/Triangle home mortgage expert Steve Thorne of Meridian Residential will answer new home financing questions such as:

•     What is the difference between VA loan, FHA loan and other forms of financing?

•     Is a VA loan my best option for my first, second, or third home purchase?

•     What does 100 percent financing really mean?

•     How much cash will I need to put down on a new home with VA financing?

•     What are typical closing costs and other fees I may need to pay?

•     What does it take to qualify in today's environment as a new home buyer?

A Stanton Homes Builder/Licensed General Contractor will answer home buying and building questions, such as:

•     What are the cost differences between one story and two story homes?

•     How do septic systems and wells impact the cost of a new home?

•     What kinds of questions should I ask before I buy a lot?

•     What floor plan options do I have within my budget?

•     What cost effective ways are there to customize a home plan?

•     How much more does it cost to include a basement or third floor

•     How long does it take to build a home if I have a home plan that I like?

•     What is required to adapt a floor plan for ADA accessibility or Specially Adapted Housing Minimum VA Requirements?

How Do I Find Out How Much It Will Cost to Build a Home in the Raleigh/Triangle Area?

Raleigh Custom Home Builder Stanton Homes Offers Veteran and Military Open House Event - Questions On Building a Home, Buying a Home and Financing a Home - Military DiscountsBring any floor plan from any architect, and Stanton Homes will put together a free building cost estimate for you.

Or email your plan to us at info@StantonHomes.com at least 4 days before the event, and someone will go over an initial cost estimate with you during the event.

You can email a link to the website and page where you found the home plan, or email a PDF file of the floor plan itself.

However, you won't need to purchase any floor plan from an architect until you've recieved an initial cost estimate and decided whether the home truly fits in your budget.
