How do you do it? Asked a Manchester NH, area Home Buyer. So much stress. So many things to go wrong.... followed by "You made our dreams come true." So when Active Rain posted a February challenge to write about "What I love about my job", I knew that my buyers smiles would guide me.
I have been in Real Estate for 31 years. I have seen good times and bad. I have seen changes to the industry. I have seen wild swings of prices, values and interest rates. I have seen highs and lows and I would not trade it for anything.
It is hard to choose just one thing that I love about my job. There is the fact that I make peoples dreams come true. I find home buyers their dream homes. I sell home owners homes to allow them to move on. Some move to bigger homes. Some look for a home to grow with their family. Some retire, looking for a smaller home.
There is the Independence. Some days it is me against the world, standing up for my client through each step of their buying or selling journey. Sticking to a recipe of "great customer service", communication and standing by my client leads me to receive an amazing amount of referrals from those who I have helped in the past.
Making miracles happen when home owners think they will never be able to sell their home. As well as the miracle of a home buyer, who in a market with a hsortage of homes, finds that perfect home making their dream come true.
My favorite part of Real Estate is the message through a smile that simply says "THANK YOU."
THE BOTTOM LINE is that the BEST way to go about any home sale or purchase is to know that the consumer should not choose just any agent. All Agents are not created equal and every buyer or seller should take the time to hire the BEST not just the biggest.
