Home in Wilhaggin Closed and Monarch Butterflies Trip

By
Real Estate Agent with Elizabeth Anne Weintraub, Broker DRE #00697006

It is possible I might not have time to post blogs for about a week or so, after this blog, that is. It all sorta depends on how things go in Mexico and how much time I have because my clients come first. The rest of you can all yammer about how your family comes first, but my family comes first by putting my clients first. Why do I feel like I'm moving into Portlandia territory,  Women and Women First, ha, ha. I finally saw the episode of how that phrase supposedly originated.

The point is WiFi is a precious commodity when it works well in certain countries, and I won't have all the time in the world to be online when my main purpose for being in Mexico is to visit with the Monarch butterflies. So the little time I do have on the computer will probably be spent communicating with my clients, team members, agents with offers and escrow. I've set up blogs to publish in my personal blog but ran out of time to do it here.

However, I'd like to share a great story before I go that I hope you'll love. You can read more in my personal blog today at this link: 10 Days to Close Escrow on Wilhaggin Fixer House in Sacramento.

P.S. In case some of you worry, and I know you do, we have a sitter at our house to care for it and the cats. All is secure.

Elizabeth, I love your pricing strategy and that those "beetles" turned into a big marketing draw at your open house. Hey, I would even go to look at them! Your seller is lucky that you priced the home so aggressively and they got their price and then some. And in such a short time.

Belinda Spillman Thanks, it's pretty much whirlwind. 3 days in Mexico City, 3 days with the butterflies in the mountains and 3 days in Oaxaca. I'll post photos when I return.

Hella M. Rothwell, Broker/Realtor® It reminded me of the house I sold with the rotting pumpkin melting into the living room carpeting with the lawn mower parked in the corner. People said to me they could not believe I described those items in the marketing description, but you could SEE them in the photos, and that house, too, sold over list with multiple offers. The worst you make it sound, the more people want it. It's the oddest thing.

Hi Elizabeth -- nothing but the truth...regardless of how ugly(or disgusting) it may be.   Congratulations to you and your sellers.
