Central Erin Mills is one of the newer neighbourhoods in Mississauga where development began in the late 1980’s. This area is home to many local institutions, a major landmark being the Mississauga Campus of the University of Toronto, and the Credit Valley Hospital on Erin Mills Parkway, part of the Trillium Health Centre.

It has some of the most attractive family friendly homes in Mississauga where high-rise condos and low-rise developments continue to be built. You will find mostly detached homes with modern and elegant brick exteriors situated on good-sized lots with plenty of frontage. It is the typical suburban lifestyle where backyard barbeques are common with family and friends during the summer months, and where a beautiful display of Christmas lights can be seen as you drive through the neighbourhood.

The completion of Central Erin Mills was the large shopping complex, Erin Mills Town Centre in 1989, which after more than two decades is still a major shopping centre. The mall’s iconic clock tower can be seen from all around the neighbourhood.

Inside the centre itself, shoppers can treat themselves to some retail therapy at trendy big-name shops. Like H&M, Bath & Body Works, Sears, Hudson’s Bay, and Reitman’s. The centre features plenty of parking and an easy-to-navigate indoor layout so you can enjoy a simple and stress-free shopping experience.

Along Eglinton Avenue to the West just south of the Town Centre, you will find trendy, urban and sophisticated high-rise condominium developments which have been springing up and continue to be developed.
