Half the news, biased news or all the news. What do you want?
Going through the news this morning, I came across a few different stations reporting on an important story. One station gave only half the story, another gave a different slant to the story and a third included many important facts that the others did not. So how can we make an intelligent opinion if we don't get all the facts without any bias added in?
In my opinion, we need to see the dis-honest reporting and call it just what it is, DIS-HONEST.
Now when we hear an opinion that is off base from someone, we at least know how and where they are coming from. Not that we must engage them but if we can ask for clarity they just may see that their source is lacking the whole truth. Let them decide.
