The Alameda’s Farmer’s Market is open to the public Saturday February 4,  and Tuesday, February 7  mornings from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, rain or shine.  All the fruits and vegetables are available at great prices.  So good!  Don’t miss the opportunity to shop for delectable fruits, vegetables and flowers.  The market is on Webster Street and Haight Avenue and is open rain or shine.

 

Alameda South Shore Center and Off the Grid food trucks will be at South Shore on Saturday, February 4, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm in the South Shore Center parking lot in front of Petco.

 

Crab Cove for Family Nature Fun Hour features “Tracks and Trails”, you be looking for footprints and evidence of animals in the area.  Then find out what’s new at the cove on Saturday, February 4, at 2:00 pm.  Crab Cove is located at 1252 McKay Avenue. Hogwarts Reunion Ball, Saturday, February 4 at 8:00 pm at the Alameda Elks Lodge sponsored by the Period Events & Entertainments Re-Creation Society (PEERS).  Harry Potter costumes or evening attire recommended.  Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door.  Tickets at http://www.peersdance.org/Hogwarts.html.  The Elk's Lodge is located at 2255 Santa Clara Avenue in Alameda.

 

Alameda Chamber of Commerce Mixer on February 4 at 5:30 to benefit the Alameda Animal Shelter at the Alameda Veterans Memorial Building, 1590 Fortmann Way.  Refreshments provided.  Please call 337-8565.

At the Alameda Point Antiques Faire on Sunday, February 5, you’ll have great time people watching, buying cools things, and enjoying great food. Entry fee is $10 before 7:30 am, $5 after 9:00 am. If you haven’t been to the Alameda Point Antiques Faire you are missing a excellent event.  It is located at the end of Main Street at Alameda Point.  Rain cancels the Faire but it will be held the following Sunday.
