This month the number of real estate sales reported showed an increase of 24.4% in contrast to 2015, with 102 sold total. Housing sales year to date had a climb of 19% relative to last year, with 1240 sold total this year. In Aubrey projected property sales in December 2016 saw an uptick of 39.8%, with 115 projected property sales total this month. Year to date there was a rise of 20.2% in projected property sales in Aubrey. There were 1253 projected property sales total this year. This month there were 78 new homes, which was a fall of 8.2%. Newly listed homes year to date reached 1569, an uptick of 19.9%. The number of houses listed under contract this month showed a hike of 69.2% relative to last year, with 88 listed on a contract total. There was an improvement of 23.1% in contract listings year to date from 2015. There were 1285 contract listings total this year. This month there was a down-slide of 7.6% in the number of approximate months supply of housing units on the market. There were 2.3 approximate months supply of housing units on the market total this month. In December 2016 there were 242 homes for sale in the market in Aubrey, which was a climb of 10%. This month there were 54 days on market until sale in Aubrey, which was a hike of 59.7% from 2015. The total percent of asking price received in December 2016 was at 96.3 total, a down-slide of 0.7%. Percent of original asking price received year to date was up 0.2%, with 97.5 percent of original asking price received this year.
