WELCOME TO THE CLARKSON NEIGHBOURHOOD
Clarkson Village is a very popular area in Mississauga for those looking for a family oriented, suburban community.
It is situated in the southwest corner of the city, bordered by Lake Ontario to the South, Lorne Park to the East, Oakville to the West, and Erindale and Erin Mills to the north.
Clarkson Village has a variety of housing styles on mature, tree lined streets and range from lovely detached homes on large lots to town homes, and estate homes, boasting million dollar price points with exquisite lake views. The most typical style of home you will see in Clarkson is a suburban style, built in the 1960’s, and range from 2 storeys, split levels or bungalows.
Over the last decade, just like it’s neighbour to the West, Clarkson has been going through a rejuvenation and many investors are purchasing homes here, and either tearing them down and rebuilding, or completely renovating them for resale.
There are some very nice parks in Clarkson for everyone to enjoy on the south side of Lakeshore Road. Here you will find Jack Darling Memorial Park, The Rattray Marsh Conservation area and Birchwood Park. Rattray Marsh is a popular Lake Ontario waterfront trail that is connected to Jack Darling, which is enjoyed by many outdoor enthusiasts and joggers.
