ECU is located east of Raleigh and from I 95 corridor about 45 minutes east.
The ECU is home of the Pirates. I guess you may ask why Pee Dee is not spelled Peetey or Peetie ??
Pee Dee is also the name of a well know river that runs through NC and SC.
So there you have it....
