Los Angeles Real Estate Market Trends in the 90068-zip code are relatively affordable.
This bold statement is based on a comparison to other parts of the Luxury Real Estate Micro Pockets of Los Angeles. Please do not get me wrong the median list price for Los Angeles, CA 90068 is around $1,850,000.
Just as in other micro pockets of the Los Angeles Luxury Real Estate, there are some high-end homes that would skew the statistics, hence I will break this report out into four sections as well, in order that you can get a better feel of how each segment is faring in today’s real estate activity.
Most people connect the 90068-zip code with Beachwood Canyon and the Hollywood Sign. Of course, it is more encompassing than that.
Currently the most expensive listing is on the market at $9,995,000.00 vs. the least expensive listing is at $699,999.00.
The trend I have notice is across the board in the sub $3 million-dollar market in Los Angeles is, that it is a very fast market. Inventory is tight and days on market are short.
Now with that said the 90068-zip code has been a strong seller’s market and if the supply and demand remains as is, I anticipate price increases to continue rather than prices to flatten out.
Each of the below statistics represent a quarter of the 90068 real estate market by price points:
Median Price Sq. Ft. Lot Size Bedrooms Baths Days on Market (DOM)
$1,065,000 1750 0-4,500 3 1.75 110
$1,550,000 2500 4,500-6,500 3 2.5 130
$2,150,000 3200 6,500-8000 4 3 135
$2,995,000 4200 .25acre to .5 acre 4 3.5 100
I am sure you will appreciate the speed of the market just based on the Days on Market alone!
