The number of projected housing sales in December 2016 in Mesquite had a slump of 9.5%, with 139 projected total. Projected properties sold year to date was up 9.7%, with 1781 projected properties sold total this year. There was a decline of 6.5% in the number of new homes in the market this month. There were 101 new homes in the market total this month. There were 1984 new houses listed in the market year to date, which was a rise of 0.8%. In Mesquite there was a rise of 4.3% in the number of contract listings in December 2016 in contrast to December last year. There were 122 contract listings total this month. Year to date there was a growth of 7.1% in the number of houses listed under contract in Mesquite in contrast to 2015. There were 1786 houses listed under contract total this year. The number of approximate months supply of inventory in December 2016 dipped 48%, with 0.9 approximate months supply of inventory total this month. In December 2016 houses for sale in the market underwent a slump of 43.5%, with 126 listed total. This month there were 31 days on market until sale, which was a decrease of 21.4% relative to last year. This month percent of asking price received was 99.5, a rise of 3.7%. The number of percent of original asking price received year to date in Mesquite went up 1.4%, with 99.1 percent of original asking price received this year.
