George, Oh yes, it is all in the “how” to use social media and to so correctly … not spamming people.  It is all about engagement.

Shame I missed. Based on my experince with ultius pro service, I know SMM can make wonders and such a workshop is a must for anyone somehow related to online marketing. Still, while it's certainly true that new customers can be found on Facebook, as soon as you realize that Facebook wants to make you pay each time to reach a fan the value drops precipitously. After working with Facebook for a few years now, we're finally essentially abandoning it as a revenue source after the last "tweaks" to its algorithms in December that sliced our traffic by 80%. Email addresses are vastly more valuable and reliable.

The only thing Facebook really has going for it are obstinate supporters who love to blindly tell other people "you're not doing it right." I'm sure Facebook can work for some businesses, probably those seeking big, one-shot orders, but then you might as well use Adwords. I don't foresee a situation where they could ever compel me to hand over another dollar.
