And So It Begins….

The game is over.  Sigh Once a year I get into a bit of a slump or rather the letdowns from the end of football.

Even though the Super Bowl was played on Sunday, I had Monday to missing footballstill be immersed in football because it was still being discussed on ESPN.

 

But now it’s Tuesday and I’m seeing commercials for the NHL and NBA.  Sigh….

 

Having been born and raised in Houston, Texas means that football is in my blood.  

Thanksgiving meant 3 television sets with football on each one.  

Friday nights in the fall meant a high school football game.  

I once went to two college football games in one day.

Sigh

There are roughly 199 days until the start of the NCAA football season and 212 days until the start of the NFL season.

 

 Although...there are 36 days until March Madness!  Go Jayhawks!!!

 

The clock is counting.

Fun post, Kathy.  Like you, I was born and raised in a high-spirited football town, Green Bay.  To tell you the truth, Kathy, the season is so intense for me that I am happy to take a few months off. Haha.  I never got hooked on baseball, but I do find it refreshing to see the baseball field, the diamonds, the change of stadiums, 'Take Me Out to the Ballgame,' and PLAY  BALL.  Have a great day.

Mark Loewenberg regardless of the outcome, it was one of the best Superbowl games I've seen. 

Nina Hollander I've only watched about a dozen soccer games and still don't understand the rules.  But, I guess it doesn't matter, does it?
