We both will tell you that we love what we do. We absolutely enjoy every moment of our work, the team who works with us, and most of all our clients.
Here are our combined answers:
We Are In the Position to Be Picky About Who We Work With: We love having fun and love working with fun-loving people. Through the years we have learned to be selective in this regard, thanks to those few who have taught us to be picky!
Our Work Is Both Very Creative and Very Logical: Essentially, we are in the business of helping our clients to discover and articulate their unique promise of value and then helping them communicate it consistently to their target market in creative ways.
Once we establish the objective criteria for our client’s brand, i.e., their unique brand signal, everything has to flow and connect logically. The best expressions of their brand and their brand strategy are those that are on signal. It becomes a binary world: It is either on signal or off signal.
Unique Approaches: We both have identical goals. But, we also have unique ways of solving problems. It never ceases to amaze me (Ron, here) how Alexandra can come up with an approach to solving a problem seemingly from “left field” and it is the perfect solution. Not in a million years would I have come up with the same answer.
When it comes to art direction for our clients websites, I (Alexandra, here) refer to him as Mr.Pixel. He notices the smallest detail that is off. He and our web developer have a good time making sure that every aspect of the site works. Together they have developed proprietary software to enhance the viewer's search experience.
Mindfulness: Our work demands that we consistently achieve a mental state of mindfulness. As individuals, we disappear and listen with full attention and compassion. This is not to say that we do not have very strong opinions. But, we open ourselves fully to our client’s perspective and do not impose our own standards and values on them.
They Are All Favorites: Sometime people ask us, what are our favorite brands or brand strategies that we have co-created. We really do not have favorites because our job is to make sure that our client’s are 100% satisfied that we “nailed” their uniqueness. And, that is what matters most to us.
