Sacramento County Listing and Sales Statistics for January 2017

Sacramento County experienced a -21.6% decrease in number of homes listed FOR SALE in January 2017 vs. the same month a year ago.

For the same period there was a 9.4% increase in homes SOLD, while Pending Sales increased 6.4%

Interest rates remain reasonably low.  For those able to find suitable homes, it's a GREAT time to buy.

Myrl, The drop in for sale homes is dramatic and makes it hard for buyers to find homes I think. I am sure many available homes have multiple offers.

The Sacramento County California real estate market has gotten off to a positive  start in 2017 . . . .  But like many real estate markets Sacramento County  can use more listings.
