Bluffton, SC - January 2017 Market Report
The little town that the folks on Hilton Head Island used to call all kinds of funny names continues to grow! January 2017 statistics are in and they're very good!
The information below is with reference to properties that closed that were NOT within a gated community in Bluffton. The average sale price/square foot was $126.35 which is basically what the builders are now charging for new homes - hence the reason that sellers in Bluffton are competing with that new home market. The averages days on the market is 67 with many of the properties selling much faster. We have a very exciting market of first time home buyers coming into the market since the rental market is very tight and rent prices are very steep.
Just as a note to the below information: ALL of the sales in Heritage at New Riverside were NEW CONSTRUCTION never occupied with builder incentives; Lawton Station NEW, May River Preserve NEW, 2 in Mill Creek NEW, ALL 4 sales in Shell Hall NEW, the one in Southern Oaks was NEW, 2 of those in The Haven were NEW (just a note, The Haven at New Riverside is a gated community so doesn't exactly fit but is considered Bluffton Off Plantation nevertheless AND is an age-restricted Del Webb community but IS NOT a part of Sun City.
