I am an early adapter. I am not sure why but I embrace change. Maybe it is because I am an immigrant so I have already embraced change big time. While others moan about change I get on with adjusting and seeing how to sue this new thing. Social media, I have accounts on every channel. I may delete them later when I don't feel it works for me, but I will give it a try.
Firstly as I mentioned social media, posting to all those different sites can be sort of frustrating. I know each has its own feel and you need to adjust, but honestly, I see the same posts by very successful people on multiple channels. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn. It takes an inordinate amount of time to post different messages with the same link to multiple sites. Enter Hootsuite, you can set up different social media channels and post to them with different messages or the same message. There is a free service which limits the number of channels you use and of course a Premium Service as well. You can set it up on your address bar on a lap top, within programs and as an app as well. I love this as it allows me to not only post to multiple pages and sites at the same time but it will also shorten the url as well. Like any tool I don't think I am using this to its fullest but it does allow me to get my message out there quickly on multiple channels when I see something worth sharing with those who follow me on those different channels.

Everyone tells you to do more with video and I have embraced video, I enjoy making videos it caters to my creative side and satisfies something within me. And I love my Sony Handycam HDR-CX380. But I understand it can be so intimidating. What shots, do I need a camera, what camera. Well you have a camera right in your hand your phone. And sometimes you don't have your camera with you. Iveo is a great video site that uses that phone to make and stitch your shots together to create a video. They are Dutch and to be honest, full disclosure here, we have been testing it for them over here in the States. It is used by Dutch Real Estate Agents to attach video to their listings. You can download it from the Google Playstore for Androids or the Apple Store for iPhones. Each project has a story board with different options, you have to watch you don't add too many shots, but you shoot your different shots per the storyboard prompts and they combine everything into a video with your logo or without so you can then download a completed video with music and upload to Youtube orVimeo or where ever you want to use it. Your logo is uploaded to their site ahead of time when you set up your account. They also have different plans. This is similar in a way to the Zillow video app, but it has all different shots on the story board prompting you to shoot in an order. You can then move them around. You can also select what type of video you want a neighborhood tour, a listing, etc.
Here is an Iveo video of one of our listings last year we uploaded to YouTube
So these are the two tools I love right now. But to be honest I am always trying out new stuff.
As for systems well that would be a whole other post. Have a great week.
