Hey guys, I need some help on this one. I have an inspection this Saturday. The home was built in 1910 and has an outdoor Heatmor Furnace. I have not ran across one of these before and was wondering if anyone could shed a little light on how to inspect it, or what to look for?? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks guys!!

It is a strange looking device.  There are so many different type heaters out there.  You would think the seller would have let you know about it.

Hey Bob, thanks for the website, although they are pretty vague in talking about it and how it works.

Hey Gene, Well if I can't get any info on it, I will just have to do the best I can with my judgment. I am hoping the sellers will be there, so I can ask them to demonstrate this beast of a furnace :-). I guess I wont have to feel too much like an idiot since not too many people actually have these things. So far most of the people I have talked to, have never even heard of them before.

hi we own one in tn, it is ran by electric outside the house, heat is forced water thru piping that goes to a radiator in the basement , or whatever the conduit may be. , check for patency of radiator, and piping, wiring going to the furnace itself ,, if heat pump is involed, patency of the ac working in correlation withh the thermostat inside the house. that has been our  concern. thanks have a nice day.
