This was the view from the deck of Rusack Winery this Wednesday located in the Santa Barbara Wine Country. The temperature was 76, with light breezes. Our friends kept telling us that this scenery reminded them of Ireland.
We enjoyed tasting different wines that were released this year with our picnic fare. We all agreed that standout was the rosé pictured above priced at $17.00, which is made with Pinot Noir grapes. Only 29 cases were produced. Here are the winemaker's tasting notes:
"Crisp and refreshing our Rosé burst with aromas of Ruby Red grapefruit, tangerine zest and macerated strawberries, complemented by delicate notes of white honeysuckle."
Cheers, Enjoy Your Weekend!
