Checking the weather forecast at weather.com this morning I see that we are expecting more rain today, but then the sun comes out starting Monday. I did notice something on the 10 day forecast.
Wednesday and the following Monday are forecast to be "Mostly Sunny".
Next Sunday is forecast to be "Partly Cloudy".
So what is the difference between the two terms?
There is a scientific difference between the two terms - if you want to read the article click here - the bottom line - "about 1 to 4 oktas".
Looking past the scientific answer, personally I would always use "Mostly Sunny" versus "Partly Cloudy".
Just like being a glass half full person, versus being a glass half empty person.
How about you?
