Happy Presidents' Day ActiveRain Community

Every year on the third Monday of February, and this year on Monday, February 20, 2017, we celebrate the Presidents' Day.

In the past, we observed Abraham Lincoln's birthday on February 12, and George Washington's birthday February 22. In 1971. President, Richard Nixon ordered the Presidents' Day to be celebrated every year on the 3rd Monday of February, to honor all past presidents of the United States.

I want to wish a Happy President's day to my friends, and to all members of the Active Rain Community.

Happy Belated Presidents' Day, John --- I also remember when we celebrated the births of George Washington and Abraham Lincoln separately.  I guess the Monday holidays are more popular and provide the opportunity to sell a lot more mattresses.
