This is a short report about one of my favorite places here in the Panhandle of Florida. I just opened a satellite office near here and get to drive past this view several times a day. I keep meaning to stop and take a few shots but never had the time until yesterday when I wanted to get one more thing off my bucket list of "To Do's. Everyone comes to visit this area because of the sugar white beaches and clean water. That is a given. One other thing that needs to be mentioned is that there are numerous inland lakes that can be used for a variety of water sports other than romping in the surf. 
They are referred to as Coastal Dune Lakes and are a fairly unique type of lake. Follow that last link for more information about the lakes. These pictures are one of my favorite spots with the homes definitely being classic in design. They are a mix of full time residents, second homes and vacation rentals.
