In the mail yesterday I received my May issue of California Association of REALTORS’® monthly magazine, California REAL ESTATE. Low and behold right there on Page 10 in the Technology column by Rick Broida, Who do you think was blabbed about and quoted? That’s’ right yours truly!
I answered his call (here on ActiveRain) for REALTORS® in CA. who use Flickr.com to help clients, gave him some ideas on how I use the great photo website’s services to preview properties for my out of town clients. Rick mentioned the way I use flickr.com, published a picture of my ActiveRain blog, and even quoted me.
Working here in the Amador County foothills, many of my clients are driving up from the bay area to see properties, If I can swing by and shoot a few pictures, post them, and zap a quick email out to these buyers, they can trim down their search and cut hours off of the already long drive day. Fickr.com is a great tool for this. For less than the cost of a tank of gas you can set up an account that will let you post all of your pictures and even organize them a few different ways, then you just send a link to your buyers and they click over to view. No giant emails that get caught in spam traps or take minutes (or more) to download. Just a quick little note and a link. Very nice.
Thanks Mr. Broida, and thanks ActiveRain for being such a great place to connect!
