It's creator Tom Fazio creatively planned the Quarry La Quinta in such a manner that it came to be known as “Golfer’s Paradise.” He designed three unique playing areas, so those playing golf experienced a steady increase in height which allowed them to see the mesmerizing details of the course.

The details contain delicately designed gardens, huge waterfalls, and bronze art can be seen all over the golf course. The background setting of the Coral mountains and Santa Rosa mountains gives it a grandiose outlook and the magnificent desert retreat only intensifies its beauty.

The Quarry La Quinta was on the list of the best golf courses in the state. It ranked 11th from 1995 to 1998 and ranked 83rd in the 100 best golf courses in the United States Golf Magazine.

The Quarry offers custom estate homes, villa homes and custom home sites. The custom home sites vary from sizes of 0.5 acres to 1 acre.

It offers a very luxurious yet stress-free way of life. In 2002, 74 acres of additional land was added, therefore adding 29 new real estate sites. The landscape is breathtaking with the gorgeous scenery and the lush green grass.

The houses are intricately designed to perfection. They provide perfect views of the golf course and the mountains with large and luxurious bedrooms. With stunning Murphy beds, these rooms have everything you can dream about in luxury. You can have your own private pool overlooking the valley and large outdoor decks with glorious views.

The brains behind this splendid beauty was the architect, Thomas Fazio, a man who has designed more than 120 courses and has more courses ranked in the top 100 in the U.S. than anyone else. Starting as a piece of land that was declared uninhabitable to becoming a getaway for many celebrities and socialites , the Quarry in La Quinta rose dramatically to become one of the most gorgeous and best golf courses in the USA.

There are 3 unique playing areas at the Quarry La Quinta. These elements are scenery of beautiful plants, an abandoned western mine, and a number bronze statues which show the early cowboy days. Golfers will face a gradual increase of more than 300 hundred feet as there are 7 holes on the Quarry floor, 7 holes 80 feet above the alluvial fan, and 4 holes at the mountain cove.

There are 2 par threes where the course slopes down from an upper level down to the Quarry flow. Here, even if your ball goes over the green, it may land in tall grass which will give you a chance to chip the ball back into the field. The Quarry in La Quinta hosts the 18 hole Quarry championship, which featured 7083 yards of golf.

There are many amenities offered by the Quarry to it's members including the clubhouse and the spa. The clubhouse with a stupendous view of the course is a relaxing place for members to unwind. The clubhouse has an indoor dining facility as well as on the balcony, from where you can see the waterfall in the 10th hole. The club also offers a full-service spa to their members and guests.

The Quarry in La Quinta is a place where you can spend your time privately and luxuriously. The pricing has recently been slashed now so you can enjoy the golf and the amenities with your spouse or the entire family.
