There was an improvement of 61.5% in the number of properties sold in January 2017 compared to the same point in time last year. There were 84 properties sold total this month. Year to date in Pilot Point housing sales reached 84 total, a rise of 61.5% compared to last year. In Pilot Point there was a gain of 81.5% in the number of projected houses sold in January 2017. There were 94 projected houses sold total this month. Year to date projected homes sold showed an uptick of 81.5%, with 94 projected total this year. In January 2017 the number of new house listings reached 129 total, an improvement of 4.9%. The number of new listings in Pilot Point year to date underwent a growth of 4.9%, with 129 new on the market total this year. This month homes listed under contract in Pilot Point reached 114, a slump of 0.9% relative to the same time of year 2016. Year to date there was a down-slide of 0.9% in the number of homes listed under contract in Pilot Point from January last year. There were 114 homes listed under contract this year. In January 2017 there were 2.2 approximate months supply of residential housing inventory in Pilot Point, and this was a decrease of 3%. In January 2017 houses for sale reached 239, a gain of 18.9%. In January 2017 there was a gain of 34.3% in days on market until sale compared to January 2016. There were 66 days on market until sale total this month. In January 2017 percent of original asking price received was down 1.9%, with 95.9 percent of original asking price received total this month. Percent of list price received year to date saw a drop of 1.9%, with 95.9 percent total this year.
