One of the things I love most about living and working in Canyon Creek is the giving nature of our residents. Take for instance Cathleen Galley who lives on Nandina Cove in Canyon Creek. She has lived there for 21 years and found a way to give back to the neighborhood that she loves.
Cathleen founded the Nandina Cove Free Library. The library belongs to everyone. There are books for the young and the young a heart! I love the tiny library box that’s been built..if you see a book you’d like to read then take it but be sure and bring it back. Remember to keep this Free Library operating by leaving books for others.
The only caveat is the books in this library must not be sold. Stop by and keep this little free library in use….remember take a book and leave a book….it’s the best way to ensure its success. Thank you Cathleen your gift to our community reminds me of several quotes:
“Plant flowers in others’ gardens and your life becomes a bouquet!

I’ve learned that you shouldn’t go through life with a catcher’s mitt on both hands. You need to be able to throw something back.
