Apart from top-of-mind status, brand loyalty is the most sought after commodity in your real estate practice. Loyal clients trust you. They choose you again when they are ready to buy or sell their home and they also tend to be your best source of referrals.
By examining why you are loyal to certain brands you can discover some of your core values. Your ideal clients are those who share your values. When you are clear about your own values you become a powerful magnet to attract more ideal clients, those with similar values.
For this contest name three brands outside of the real estate realm that you trust. Then, write a paragraph for each explaining why you trust them. Be sure to include at least one photo you have taken. Finally, share what you have learned about yourself and your values by focusing on these brands and examining why they are important in your life (and your real estate practice).
Please make sure that your photo is an original, and you are the owner of it. ***Some companies like Apple have a press room that allow you to use their photos, after signing in and agreeing to their rules. Of course, you need to add at the bottom of the photo “Photo Courtesy of Apple.” Some press-rooms take longer to respond than others.

We are raving fans and loyal customers of Mercedes, Apple and Trader Joes. We trust each of these brands. Here is our example of how to write this post.

We bought our first Mercedes in 1980, based on design and their safety record. The brand’s prestige was also a factor because we operated our commercial real estate firm in Beverly Hills, where driving a luxury car was the norm among our high net worth clients. We have been loyal fans for 37 years, because of their impeccable service (including free loaner cars during services) and their willingness to stand behind their product. On several occasions they completely replaced major parts at no cost even beyond the warranty because of our brand loyalty. In each of the cities where we have lived we have had wonderful service representatives, who took great care of us.

We appreciate Apple for their elegant sense of design and the ease of using their products. We trust Apple based on their stance on privacy issues and their best-in-class service. We do not have time to indulge in tech rage or wait for tech support. Apple Care consistently addresses all of our tech concerns when they arise, occasions that are few and far between. Each and every tech support representative that we have encountered has made us feel good during our calls or at our visits to our local Apple store. This was even true in Florence, Italy where we purchased a replacement for one of our iPads that was accidentally crushed between our airplane seats.
TJ’s commitment to being GMO-free and other high standards provides a very high level of trust in their private label products. Trader Joe’s “no questions asked” return policy and their encouragement to try new products is second to none! But, what keeps us coming back is their staff; 80% of them know us by our first names as we know them! We always have a great time when we go there because they consistently hire up-beat people.
In writing this post we discovered that elegance and intelligence in design, plus ease of use, are important values of ours when it comes to products. Consistently feeling UPLIFTED by customer service, especially when there is continuity in personnel is particularly appreciated. We try to incorporate these values in our own business and like to work with those who share the same values.
We look forward to reading your entries. This Active Rain Challenge expires on March 31, 2017, at Midnight PST.
