Be A Top Producer - Not An Average Agent
We all want to be a top producer and not just an average agent. How does one achieve this lofty goal? What actions do you work on a regular basis to stand out from the crowd? How are you branding yourself? Do you have a niche?
I was listening to a podcast today, and I wanted to share what I learned. You can no longer just say that you are a top producer, you must show it. How are you different? One thing that can differentiate you from the rest is to know your market inside and out.
On a weekly basis, study your market. Determine these items:
# of homes that are currently available for sale
# of new listings for the month
# of pending for the month
# of closed transactions for the month
# of average days on the market for the month
# of expired, canceled and withdrawn for the month
and the % of Sold price/ List price for the month
It is also advantageous to know the highest Sold price and the least Sold price in your market.
For those of you who are already posting a weekly market report of your local area...congratulations. For those of you who aren't, there is no better time than now. Stand out from the crowd by getting to know your market. It is the little things that make you stand out.
