THINGS I LOVE ABOUT BEING A PROFESSIONAL REALTOR
It has hard to believe that I have been in the real estate industry for the sixteen years. Wow, the time flies when you are having fun. They say a successful person turns their hobby into their career. I have always been fascinated with real estate since I was in my early twenties. Most people become millionaires through real estate. Here I am today assisting people in buying, selling and managing their real estate.
The first thing that I love about real estate is the flexibility that one has with their time. I am able to be there for my family at all times for doctor visits, drop kids off at school, parent teacher conferences, attend sporting events and volunteer on the school board. I am not at a regular job from 9-5 each day. However, there are times when I have to burn the midnight oil to make things happen. However, I am in control of my own destiny. If I fail, then it is because of me.
The second thing that I love about my profession is the creativity involved in marketing one’s own business. I am a very creative person. So, I have many avenues to market my real estate services. I am very proud that I create all my own content for my business. I have had my logo for the past ten years. My company is called Real Estate and Beyond, LLC. Furthermore, ActiveRain allows me to share my experiences in real estate via blogging. I have been blogging since 2009. I have never looked back.
Finally, the third things that I love about my profession are the people that we meet in our industry. I have been able to meet some awesome people during my real estate career. My clients turn into great friends. Real estate is a people business. I was able to interview some well known local people in the real estate industry when I hosted my own radio show. Also, the clients that we serve to either buy sell or manage their real estate. I have always kept it real in real estate. I have never met a stranger. I look forward to more great years in real estate.
