Alignable....One More Way to PLUG in to a Referral Network

By
Real Estate Agent with EXP Realty 414-525-0563 57026-90 Broker

In Real Estate you an easily feel bombarded by invitations to network...on  line or at "after work" socials.network...speakers for breakfasts....luncheons sponsored by local organizations...you have to pick, choose or ignore the plethora of seeming popularity with these groups.   There are times when you know a group by reputation...the Chamber of Commerce in one place vs another...the "After Hours" social gatherings that have proven successful for other people you know.

A while ago, we were invited to join the online group called "Alignable."  You are invited to "meet" other business owners in allied professions...or it may be the corner gift shop or jeweler. You choose how or if you want to "align" with them as part of your network. Your "meeting" can continue as just as online relationship or you always have the option to meet. We have done both.  We have added to our reliable contractor list...AND had them do work for us as well as refer them to others.

Plugged In   Just like you can't have or give tooooo much information...can you have tooo many business contacts ? It may not be a resource you use daily but it may be one that is valuable to you or a client when you need it most.
And yes...sometimes...the best things in life are FREE....so don't hesitate to invest your own most valuable resource..TIME....and go to Alignable.Com and let  the network of professionals there know what you can do for them....and learn how they can help you better serve your clients with the goods and services they provide.

This is a Business Public Service Message brought to you by Sally & David Hanson, Broker Associates with Keller Williams Realty in southeastern Wisconsin, honored to be of service for all things real estate.

Sheephishly I will admit to being a member of Alignable, Sally K. & David L. Hanson ... but definitely not using it to my full capability.  Will have to re-think that given your endorsement of its benefits ... thanks!

Sally and David sometimes the value of the contacts we make today are not seen until much later.  We can never have to many contacts whether they be business related or not.

Sally & David, you need to be careful in choices...I have seen a couple of them flop in my area...I only refer to who I have worked with and then sometimes they are not referrable when a client had a problem.  Glad Alignable has worked for you...it certainly depends on the professionals.

Amazingly ....in the small world we live in, in every case we were working with the Sixth Degree of separation...the contractors had all worked with people we knew well and several have now worked for us...we do a fair of contracting...never use people who are "largely unknown @Ginny Gorman.

Sally and David- it's always good to know what new or different networking organization is out there.  It's up to each individual to figure out what works best for them.

I get requests regularly from Alignable, among several others. Guess I have to think seriously about whether to participate or not, and in which ones.

I am also getting endless virtual invitations. A few actually eMail me wanting to know any pocket listings etc. However, when I suggest or calling back that we need to meet in person they faded away. If you want to buy wholesale at least you should me in the office I will see what I can do.  I also get solicitation from other brokers who are under restriction on their license.  I declined.

I'm not a fan of Alignable in my area--got contacted by a lot of questionable types. Glad to know that it's better in other areas.

You need not "align" with everyone who asks Praful Thakkar but we have made quite a few very valuable connections in a short period of time.
