TWO REAL ESTATE TOOLS FOR PHOENIX REAL ESTATE
I have been a professional Realtor for the past sixteen years. I have many tools in my bag when it comes to real estate. However, I have to pick two tech tools to write about for this month’s contest. So, I listed all my tech tools that I currently use in my real estate business at the present time. I was very surprised at my list. However, there are two tech tools that I use on a daily basis for my real estate trade.
The first tech tool that I would like to write about is ActiveRain. I have been an active real estate blogger since 2009. I never thought much of blogging to tell you the truth. I thought who would want to read my material. I really have nothing to share when it comes to my real estate experience. I am just doing what I do best. Well, I WAS WRONG about blogging. I loved writing when I was in graduate school because it gave me a chance to share the knowledge that I possess in writing. The same goes for blogging. I am able to share my thoughts and experiences via blogging.
I have been able to meet so many great people via ActiveRain. First, the people who put their time and effort in ActiveRain are the best. I have been able to meet and speak to other ActiveRain members over the years. Our local events are great to attend so I am able to connect with local real estate agents.
Also, I have obtained much business via blogging. I have many people who have read my blog well before they called me. They informed me that I am very well informed about my local market and they would love to work with me. I can thank ActiveRain for many of the clients that I continually serve each year. Thanks for providing an excellent platform for us to share our blog posts with the world.
The second tech tool that I use is Propertyware to run my Phoenix Property Management business. I entered the property management business in 2009 at the same time I started blogging. I entered the property management business because I got tired of other companies stealing my clients. So, I provided my clients with a one stop shop for them. They loved it and I have never looked back.
Propertyware is a cloud based system. I can access my account anywhere in the world as long as I have Internet access. Tenants and owners have their own online portals which they have access to 24/7. Everything is automated for me. Tenants can pay their rent online with ach payment, debit or credit card. All owner records are in the cloud. I love the detail reports that are available to analyze any part of the business.
Another feature that I love is that I can perform move in or move out inspections via my Samsung Galaxy phone. Then, I can create a report using my branding to create a professional report for both the tenant and owner. Furthermore, I can take the move out inspection report and turn it into a bid to make unit rent ready for owner approval at the same time. That is called working smarter.
