Historic Architecture in Newnan Georgia, Visit Historic Downtown Newnan

Downtown Newnan Georgia is a vibrant and robust business center, with shops, retaurants and services for citizen and visitor alike. It's also a great place for an afternoon or evening walk, with broad sidewalks and excellent traffic control.

One of the most interesting facets of downtown Newnan is the number of hstoric buildings still standing, Many were constructed in the 19th century, and still retain their charm and unique style.

If you wish to plan a walking tour of Newnan, a map listing the merchants is available from Mainstreet Newnan. It's a great guide for getting around town, There is also plenty of free parking in the area.

Even though I live in the area, I still enjoy walking the streets of Newnan, and I discover something new every time I visit. It's a piece of living history, so why not plan a visit today?

Richard...I love checking out the old towns...there is so much history to relive! I will have to ask for the best places to go, If I get down there in 2 years like planned.
