I was Found on ActiveRain Today!!

I have been reading post after post about getting business from AR. My friend, who I got to sign up and has NEVER done anything with her blog, says to me "someone found me on AR today." I thought, wow, you don't even participate in the community or anything? I was getting worried, thinking I am never gonna get one!!

Finally, I got a call today. It was kind of funny because I was sitting at my desk answered my phone and this voice was very friendly and said, Hi, we want to come and meet with you right away. I just so happenend to have some time in the afternoon for them to come and get qualified and have our Buyer Listing appointment!!

I thought it was interesting that they knew how long I had been at my office and other information. I thoought, they must have read my main profile page? I asked them how they found me, they said ActiveRain.

They are a very nice couple and relocating to the Montgomery county area from Texas.

It was my first, it was really fun.

Good for you Audrey - I'm glad it worked. Even more so than "finding us" on active rain, I think consumers can read our blogs and actually learn something about us. That says a lot.

Yeah!!!! Congrats Audrey!

I have talked with a few agents who filled out a profile and never contributed anything that had clients contact them anyways.......of course I ended up speaking with them soon after when the figured they might be able to get more business if they actually participated.

The beauty of your contributions is they build on each other and the greater your body of work, the more likelihood people will find it. I promise it won't be the last time this happens :-)

Audrey, Congrats!! I know that Active Rain has helped my website to soar but I have not found a way to tell that someone has actually come from there. That's great that they let you know how they found you. Even if I haven't had a direct answer that "we found you on Active Rain" the website alone brings in the business and it wouldn't be positioned where it is without the Active Rain boost.

Doug, Activerain is really great. There is a ton of stuff to learn. You just have to jump in with both feet. I was so nervous in the beginning but just started blogging and having a ball. Keep at it, it works.
