Greyhound Adoption League City, TX

Retired Racing Greyhounds are quiet and loving companions that live to be 12-14 years old. At retirement they can be anywhere from 2-5 years old leaving many years to be with a family. They generally show a sweet and gentle disposition, low maintenance, due to short hair, and little to no barking.

Volunteers for FastK9's Greyhound Adoption will be at the League City Petco, 2895 Gulf Freeway South at FM 646 eery 1st, 3rd and 5th Saturday of the month from 1p to 5p.

Cindy, when I was in Florida once awhile back I saw a similar story about adopting retired Greyhounds. Hope they all find good homes. Great cause and thsnka for finding this info for those near League City.

Thanks for posting this thread, Cindy. I think any exposure for animals in need is positive. Hopefully someone in your area comes across this post and adopts one of those sweethearts because of it. ;)
