According to the Pacific Business News The Howard Hughes Corp has announced earlier this week that it will commence construction on its 236-unit Gateway Towers project at the current Ward Warehouse location later this year.
Richard Meier & Partners in collaboration with Executive Architects, Architects Hawaii Ltd. and a team of local consultants have designed the ultra-luxury project for the 60 acre Ward Village in Kaka’ako, Honolulu.
The Howard Hughes Corp. had not previously announced a time line for construction. Ward Warehouse will be demolished in August to make way for the fraternal Gateway Towers project which will overlook Kewalo commercial boat harbor in the rapidly expanding Kaka’ako neighborhood.
