St. Patrick's Day Festivities and Parade in Delray Beach- 2017

You don’t have to be Irish to enjoy the annual St.Patrick’s Day Festival and Parade in Downtown Delray Beach!

 

Festival Schedule

Friday-March 10, 2017  5 to 10 PM

The fun begins at Old School Square  at the corner of Swinton and Atlantic Avenue

 

Saturday- March 11, 2017 11 AM to 7 PM

There’s a change this year!  The Darby O’Del Fun Run will kick off the parade at noon!

The parade begins at noon on Atlantic Avenue and heads west past Swinton!

Please consult the Delray Beach St Patrick’s Day site for more information as entertainment is being added.

 

Note- Come early to get a good viewing spot!

 Wear comfortable shoes.

 It’s Florida, so expect it to be warm!

 Wear GREEN whether you’re Irish or not!!!

 

 



I was especially excited to attend the parade last year because the honored guests were World War II Veterans. They were flown in and everyone gave them a huge round of applause and cheers.
