Buyers Ask – Where Do I Buy A Car in Carlsbad?
Every now and then I get a question about where to buy a car in Carlsbad, or even lease one, from those who are not locals or familiar with the area.
The answer is obvious, for those in the know. At Car Country!!
Car Country is like a small country unto itself, about a 1 mile stretch of road, Paseo Del Norte, along the I-5 freeway just south of Cannon Road. The road is lined with auto dealerships on both sides, with a shorter loop, Car Country Drive, just to the east on the north side of the Carlsbad Premium Outlets Mall. I don’t think there is any place else to buy a car, other than privately, in Carlsbad. If there is I haven’t seen it!
Being such an auto-centric part of the country, we joke that at least in SoCal there are as many cars as there are people. A little research shows that California has the most registered vehicles of any state!
Carlsbad car buyers will be pleased at the wide range of new and used (seems it’s now “certified pre-owned” or “certified used” these day), domestic and foreign, inexpensive (well, relatively) and expensive (but not the super high end like Maserati, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Bentley, Rolls – but I can tell you some places to buy them!).
