Using hashtags on Instagram. Hashtags act as filters for people doing searches as well as keywords that can be searched with or without hashtags. Example on the left is search results based on a real estate search. The one on the right is one of LA's top real estate brokers announcing an open house in Los Angeles. Note the use of #beverlyhills and #luxury.
Hashtags are used differently on EACH social media platform. The two platforms a real estate professional would get the most benefit out of applying hashtags are Instagram and Pinterest.
