This is our entry for Active Rain March Challenge: Name 3 Brands You Trust & Why? sponsored by Ron and Alexandra Seigel.
I've taken a tour through the entries posted so far, and noticed that some of our favorite major brands also appear on the lists of others.
To name a few, Apple, Costco, Home Depot, Trader Joes, and the list goes on
There are others, such as Whole Foods, that I've noticed in comments, that I have not noticed in the posts...
We're going to be a little different and focus on two local brands and one international brand (although I suspect many readers may not have heard of it).
The three have something in common.
They all relate to food.
I did notice in particular Kathleen Daniels post which focused on eating the "right stuff".
Suzanne headed us down that road a few years ago, while we don't limit ourselves to "vegetarian", we do focus on purchasing the healthiest possible foods.
First up - Balsons. or to be more precise "RJ Balson & Son - Europe's Oldest Family Butchers - Since 1515".
Yes - you read it correctly, they have been in business for over 500 years!
One of my favorite breakfast proteins is a good English Breakfast "Banger" (Sausage for those of you not familiar with the term). While many options for breakfast meat are available locally, I was ecstatic to find these folks have a US online store:
"where you can now buy authentic English and Irish "banger" sausages and English and Irish bacon. Simply the best British food online, delivered to your door"
Agreed! We have used them faithfully for years! Consistency of product, great pricing (even better if your local Costco stocks them), and the genuine flavor derived from all natural ingredients!
Next, we turn to Noble Bread.
A few years back, when we were looking for authentic bread (don't get Suzanne started on carbs and gluten - but for me, bread is on my "good list").
We were at a Farmer's Market in Phoenix, and stumbled across Noble Bread selling their bread within one of the major organic farms tent.
"Noble Bread is a small scale bakery featuring old world techniques, a stone hearth, and naturally leavened bread. Our bread is created only using organic GMO free flours, water, sea salt, and organic levain starter."
Jason Raducha, owner and entrepreneur, bakes a variety of breads, including their standard bearer "Country".
If you are in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area, and you are a bread afficionado, it's well worth seeking out Noble Bread. In fact, they have been so successful that there is the Noble Eatery!
Last but not least, It's A Divine Bakery.
Another find at a Farmer's Market.
A stunning variety of European Specialties, cakes, cookies, pastries and the lengthy list goes on.
We particularly favor their authentic Streuselkuchen, and Apple Strudel.
Rain or shine, you can find Craig and the delectable assortment of items on Sunday's at the Anthem Farmer's Market.
Three of our favorite brands, and we are fiercely loyal to all three!
