What I Know

Education & Training with TEAM Hughes Real Estate School REI#ZH1003093

Lots of agents have been licensed longer than I have, but what I know is plenty enough to devote a lifetime to transferring knowledge, wisdom and experience to others.  I know what I know, and that’s all I know.  So why do you think students from all walks of life, representative of all ages, and having all kinds of reasons to come to a real estate school pick us?  I ponder this question because, quite frankly, I like pondering.

What I know is that expectations run high each time a student chooses TEAM Hughes Real Estate School.  What I know is that people spend money to hire us as an intermediary between them and a real estate license.  I also know that most of the time we accomplish the task for which we were hired.

Real estate agents have an interesting task set before them.  Once they are licensed, the public perceives them as knowing everything about real estate.  What I know is that not one of us can possibly know everything about real estate.  A real estate career needs continual attention.  Many agents are so comfortable with their practice that they forget the laws change, the lender practices change, and ultimately the consumers change.  Some real estate agents get left behind because, like me, they came from an era of thick MLS books, couriers delivering “hot sheets,” and sending paperwork by overnight mail.  To keep up with progress, it is necessary for those practicing real estate to get on board with technology and to hone their skills regularly.

What I know is valuable.  What I know is that some things about a career in real estate will never change.  The need for education, people skills, and commitment will always be in the forefront of a real estate career.  Whether practicing real estate on a full-time basis or whether it is a second career, to be successful requires a continual investment of time and energy in one’s self.

What I also know is that our country’s economy has always been cyclical, and to weather any financial storms that come our way will require a real estate agent who knows what I know.  It’s time to build a listing inventory, and it’s time to pay attention to those who have been through a few economic cycles.  It’s time to position yourself as a force to be reckoned with.  If the public doesn’t know who you are, you need to rev up your marketing efforts.

TEAM Hughes Real Estate School is all about transferring information from us to you.  If you need a real estate class, what I know is that we are the best, and we can help you with your real estate goals.  We have a Broker class coming in April – think about taking it – it will validate your education, your experience, and will give you a lot of what I know.  Call me for details!
