THE WALL THAT HEALS coming to the St. George, Utah area March 16-19, 2017.
2017 marks the 35th Anniversary of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial and once again, the traveling exhibit allows a visit to my cousin Randolph Edwin Graves as it makes its way close to where I live in southern Utah. I know his location by heart due to several meetings and encourage everyone to stop in, spend a little time viewing the wall, talk to the volunteers and Vets.
The exhibit honors the more than three million Americans who served in the U.S. Armed Forces in the Vietnam War and holds the names of the more than 58,000 men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in Vietnam.
VVMF continues to lead the way in paying tribute to our nation’s Vietnam veterans and their families. VVMF works to honor, preserve, and educate to ensure that current and future generations never forget the service and sacrifice of those who came before them.
“Taking The Wall That Heals on the road gives thousands more veterans and their family members an opportunity to see The Wall and honor those who have served and sacrificed so much,” said Jim Knotts, president and CEO of VVMF. “It helps veterans from all of America’s conflicts to find healing and a powerful connection through their common military experiences.”
Host: Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 961 Location: Zion Harley Davidson 2345 N Coral Canyon Blvd Washington, UT 84780
