It's that time of year for the rite of Spring otherwise known as March Madness. Games will have been played starting back in November to determine who will advance to receive that trophy that symbolizes the best in Men's and Women's college basketball for that year.
For the UConn nation, it will be a tough period as our Mens team didn't make the field. They had a jinx of a year with so many players getting hurt and being lost for the season and it started back in late October. Hard to cheer when you have no horse in the race.
On the Womens side, our girls surprised a lot of teams and even their coaches for getting to March with an undeafeated team and currently the favorites to win a 5th straight National Championship.
Even though it starts in March it will be early April before the champs are crowned.
