...a happy Realtor®. This is my philosophy, these days. It's curious, I used to work out 6 days/wk 2 hours/day. I felt good and strong. Then, for some reason, I fell off the exercise wagon. I even let my diet go. Not good for someone with Type 2 Diabetes. I can find an endless supply of reasons and excuses for not exercising or eating poorly.
I've felt poorly, my numbers are not good. The docs are not happy. I'm not happy. I think it can be easy to get overwhelmed by aging. My morning checklist: The 3 S's, teeth brushed, hair combed, what's left of it, (It's gone senile and has forgotten where to grow), teeth in, ears in, eyes on, fly up...LOL. Something had to be done!
She doesn't know it yet, but will if she reads this post, Barbara Todaro recently inspired me to get back to treating my healthy seriously. Barbara is an exercise & health proponent, and it shows, so much so that it inspired me to purchase a Total Gym Fit recently. I figured if I wouldn't get off my butt and go to the gym I would bring the gym to me...lol.
I hated every minute of training, but I said,
'Don't quit. Suffer now and live the rest of
your life as a champion.' ~ Mohammed Ali
Now, I just received it so there are no amazing results to show you, BUT, to my surprise, 15-20 minutes a day on the Total Gym is quite the workout. More than I expected! I am also back to following the Zone Nutrition Program.
I'm looking forward to putting the spring back in my step and the start endorphins flowing. Exercising and eating properly will aid in overall attitude and toss the sluggish feeling out the door. That will translate to a happier Realtor with energy and more enthusiasm AND that will translate to more business. AND, I'm hoping a reduction or elimination of diabetic medicine(s)
Look out Chuck Norris!!!
