So things have slowly progressed into a better week for me.  As some of you know, last week was a bit rough for me.  I received word from a lien holder earlier in the week, we had received short sale approval.  Closing is scheduled for 4 p.m. Today, 5/9/08!

Went to the final walk through of the property this morning and met my client, the buyer at the property.  Her brother, mother, and father were there also.  Mom and Dad came up from North Carolina earlier in the week when we got word we could close.  Walk through went great, everything is on the up and up.  I went to close the door to the home and heard a huge CRUNCH.  Turned around, and this is what I saw!

Mom backed right into my truck!  When it rains, it pours.  Luckily, it's just a truck.  No one was injured.  Maybe jsut her pride a little.

We will close later today, my truck will get fixed next week, and all will be fine.  Until next time my friends!

Bill,

I am so sorry about your truck!  You have a great attitude!

Great perspective- material things can be replaced.  That said- boy does that suck!

Thank you Mary and Vanessa,  It's just a truck, it can be fixed!  Still upsetting though.

Would have been better if it was totaled then you could be shopping for a model with better gas milage in stead of the tank, good luck Bill. Steve

Sometimes it just gets so bad it becomes laughable...you seem to have a great attitude and that will save you years on your life.  Stress is a killer so keep up with the positive thoughts!  She must have been so embarrassed!

I hear that Steve.  Kind of ironic, I've been shopping for a new vehicle the past couple weeks!

Sharon - Thanks for stopping in.  At this point, all I can do is laugh at what has happened to me, hug and kiss my son and wife, and just be thankful I'm alive and breathing!

Ouch! Bill... funny you were just saying you were looking for something new. Hope it is resolved quickly!

I had to laugh when this all happened Steph.  This just topped off what had been happening to me all week long.  I'll consider getting a new vehicle a few weeks after this is all resolved!
