Paia Gelato moves up the street to a brand new location on the Hana Highway. This newly constructed green building also houses Simmer Style which relocated from the Shops at Paia Bay. Businesses are shuffling around with so many more commercial spaces for rent in this little beach town on Maui's north shore. Spaces are filling up, while other spaces remain empty.

What else is new in Paia?
- Hana Provisions has closed the door and moved out. I guess it wasn't so easy to run a farm-to-table restaurant after all.
- Paia Surf Company is a new shop on Baldwin Ave in the great big building in between Milagros and Alice in Hulaland.
- The historic Quinsaat building on Hana Highway is for sale for $2.8M
