Brian's Monday Hike Near Gilbert, AZ - Little Lizard

I'm not quite sure how I would react if I ever encountered a rattlesnake on a hike...Thankfully I never have - !!

Good morning, Brian England I'm not good with "little critters".... poisonous or not....you need to carry an automatic weapon on those hikes so you can spray the place with bullets as you're walking....

That is some impressive camoflaging on that lizard. Bet there is a rattler in his future.

He does blend into the surroundings and better he blend in versus a rattlesnake. I can handle spiders but no snakes!

Good morning, Brian -- I had the same thoughts as Norm Sandy Padula and Norm Padula, JD, GRI NMLS#1483386 -- very impressive camouflage.

I would definitely have my eyes open and watching for all kinds of critters. Happy Spring, Brian.

Brian, I'm amazed you spotted him with his camo, what a cute little guy. I'd enjoy seeing critters on a hike but, no rattlesnakes - that's for sure!

I must agree with everyone else here, no rattlesnakes for me.  Everyone in a 20 mile radius would hear me screaming.

Hello Brian,  Rattlesnakes are not my friends at all not this little guy would of been of to get a picture of.

That guy blends right in with the rock.  Very sneaky little fellow.

I think it is so fascinating the way the camouflage themselves to the rocks or terrain they travel.

Brian- you have no idea how relieved I am that you did not come upon a snake!!!!  Have a great week. 

Brian, This little guy in your picture blends right in with the rock. Rattlesnakes are to be avoided all the time in my opinion.

I hope you have rattlesnake proof shoes, and I loved the little guy who blended into the rock face...Ron an I saw rattlers on a hike once, they just kept moving on and we did too, I have to admit we had a bigger spring to our steps.  LOL

Brian, he is blending into his local area, most certainly. Good eye on your part, because I'm sure he didn't want to stand out..."camo" is always good in nature!!
