It has been my experience that most clients fire their current real estate agent for failure to communicate. This has been my experience when I pick up new clients. I always ask them if they are working with a real estate agent. Why is it so difficult when it comes to communicating with your client? We spend marketing dollars each month to make the phone ring. Then, there is silence between the client and real estate agent.
Now, I am very happy to pick up the low bearing fruit in my own backyard when it comes to Phoenix real estate. I just picked up a client for Phoenix property management because his current property manager never got back to him. I always ask my clients their preferred way of communication in the first meeting with them. That is the best way to capture their attention and to let them know immediately that I am a professional real estate agent.
